We always celebrated when each of our girls got their permits. It's a big step in their lives, and yours. Congrats, big guy!
Woo hoo! My friend's daughter just got her license… her first paycheck went to 1 parking ticket, 1 oil change and the rest was for a broken side mirror on the car 🙂 I can hardly wait!

Not quite sure how it all works in the US but from your comments I guess its a license to drive! Here in the UK they can get a provisional license at 17,and so I'm at a similar stage as my daughter just turned 17, got her provisional license and had her first driving lesson last week – and the worrying has begun…
