About Me

I am a wife and mother to two grown kids, three dogs, four horses and a flock of chickens. I’m a part time editor for our local publication and am co-manager of a yearly artisan market in our small New England town. I volunteer in dog rescue and have adopted several shelter dogs –  Lover of all creatures great and small, kayaking, photography, horseback riding, travel, music, good books, good food,  the great outdoors, old souls, old friends, THIS OLD HOUSE and STELLA.  My blog began when we resurrecting an 1835 Farm house.  We recently acquired a 1935 seasonal cottage on the shoreline and resurrected her as well – we call her Stella.   Life and it’s treasures and struggles are shared here, as are political discussions, health issues and wellness discussions, and be warned my opinions are strongly stated.  My wish for the world is peace in coexistence, good will to all.
