  1. Love this…especially that the majority of the video is a celebration rather than sadness. Even though overpopulation and homelessness is a huge problem, we do need to remember all the successes and the people who so tirelessly work to make those successes happen.

  2. All four of our dogs came from animal shelters. We took on three as older puppies, and one golden oldie. All were/are perfect. It just takes time and patience.

  3. Karen, my daughter and sister in law are both involved in pet adoption. This video shows how things really can be accomplished when we put our minds to it.

I think there is a special place in heaven for people who rescue animals, and for those who help them to be rescued!

    Kat 🙂

  4. This is awesome! Thank you for posting it 🙂

We just our year-end stats for our SNAP program (spay neuter all pets)
in the county. 2,789 cats were spayed or neutered and 4,189 dogs! We have been volunteering with this for 7 years. The first year less than 100 people took advantage of this free program!
Our county didn't even have a shelter when we moved here! Now our
"Friends of Animals" (we don't call it a shelter) is a model for other counties and states!
Yay for progress in the animal love world!

  5. The first two songs made me cry. Thankfully, the third one was more upbeat! It's heart-lifting to see that so many dogs were able to find forever homes, thanks to people like you!

  6. I'm sobbing now. But happy that so many dogs found a loving home. Great work!

As far as I know, in the Netherlands homeless dogs don't get killed, unless they are vicious and can't be helped or terminally ill and in too much pain.

  7. ohhh, 30 seconds in and I am sniffling- huge pull on my heart! Great video- very emotion filled in all the right ways.

Love, love, love your new header! It fits perfectly!

Although, thanks to you, I get many compliments on my own as well 🙂
