Condo Restoration Complete

Much work has been done in the past month, and I have to say, I love it.  It is ready for occupancy, just waiting for a few mirrors to arrive.  Everything has been stripped and repainted, respackled, new tiles and marble and granite, new bathroom fixtures, new toilets and tub, new kitchen.. and the look is lighter, brighter and cozy.

The front door opened to wood floor, which was messy in snow and rain.
Tile installed instead.
This the view at front door looking in.

Kitchen.. this is the big WOW factor compared to the old one.
All windows were replaced and insulated too..
it was a very flimsy, chilly place before.

  1. Karen,

We are having a contest at The 2 Seasons for a $50 gift card to The Container Store. One of the three ways to win is to mention it on your blog and then leave a comment that you did.

    Thanks!!

  2. Awesome!!! I LOVE it! GUGirl looks right at home….I am thinking this is her place?? It is a really great looking condo! Did I hear…it's near the water too??? Wow!

  3. Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! I couldn't believe it when I read the word complete! You kicked butt on that one and that kitchen… oh my… that kitchen is amazing!!!

  4. You guys are good! It looks fantastic! I'd take it in a heartbeat. I want that bathroom sink. I have one more like the first one that was there. You can't sit anything down on it or it tips over!

  5. In sure wish someone would come in and make over my house –it's pretty tired,(the house and me), but I'm working on it!
The condo looks amazing–love the color choices and everything!

  6. WOW. You are so talented! We are struggling right now to paint our master bedroom, new ceiling light fixture, new carpet. (The only room that is carpeted.) This place looks like somewhere I could live! Very warm and inviting! YAY.

  7. Home make-overs can be overwhelming, especially when all you see is the mess.

The transformation is beautiful and I can see why you're pleased. It's amazing how "trim" upgrades like crown mouldings can change the way a place looks… and makes you feel.

  8. OH MY! I was wondering about this sweet pad…it's amazing! Love it so much! Love the beadboard or whatever you call it in the bathroom!

  9. Gorgeous! And so fast it seems! My husband has been working on renovating our front hall for three months now and isn't anywhere near finished!

  10. Karen, I LOVE it! I love the details, the wood panelling along the walls, the colours (that grey in the bathroom is delicious) and the kitchen definitely has the WOW factor. And I like the grain in the wood of the steps on the stairs. I'm not sure if that's new or not, but it is beautiful.
    Definitely a great transformation 😉
