I love reading your comments and I like to respond to each of you, especially when you’ve asked a question or have paid a compliment. Some of you may not be getting responses from blog owners because we’re coming across THIS message when we attempt to reply –
Now, some people want total privacy and I understand that sentiment…
But I would imagine some of you may not know that you have your email hidden so that people cannot respond. If you have been wondering why no one ever responds to your comments, follow these simple steps to unblock your email.
1. Go to your dashboard,
2. Click “edit profile”
3. Check the box that says “show my email address”
4. Save your profile
It’s as easy as that.

It really is depressing for me to have someone leave a lovely comment on my blog, and I'm unable to respond directly to the person because of noreply@blogger.com. I don't know how many times I have started to write a response to a comment, only to look up and see that dreaded address. It makes me sad.
Since I started blogging two years ago, I have had no increase in the amount of spam I receive because my email is available here … and I have made lovely blog/email/in-person friends because we can take conversations off the blog and to a more personal level.
With you, and me, and Kate the Country Girl working on this, maybe we can get some folks to change their profiles and get with the game.
How kind you are to post on this problem. I too had that problem in the beginning until another kind blogger friend told me how to fix it.
It really is just as easy as that! I usually end up going to that person's profile…clicking on their blog and leaving them a comment!

Karen- I know exactly what you mean. As a new blogger I had no idea how to "fix" this until Kim @ Savvy Southern Living said…"Hey you idiot…take the NoReply thingy off"…or something kind of like that…and then she told me how to do it!.) Even my daughter has it on hers…sigh…and there is no way Mom is gonna tell HER what to do!..Hugs- Diana

What I don't understand is sometimes, at the bottom of the window where I leave a comment, where it says "comment as", sometimes that pull down window give me any choices. Sometimes it works, like now, but other times it won't
