Are you getting your GREEN on?

Although it’s never believed by my appearance alone,
I am Irish as well as Italian.  T’is a beautiful thing, if you’re to ask me 🙂
Amen, I say.

Any excuse to  join in in some way, celebrate and have a little fun
should be put to good use – whether you’re Irish or Italian or German or Japanese.
Today, where ever you are…In large cities, along the beach, at church,
or in small town USA… , notice the camaraderie.. the wearing o’ the green,
the serving of the green beer, the green bagels at the bakery… The PARADES!
Anything that brings us all together in a good way, is alright by me.
My mom has already prepared the corn beef, cabbage, potatoes and Irish Soda bread.
Delish!
Are you wearing your green today?

  1. Happy St.Patricks Day Karen. Here in MA, Boston, is the big St.Patty's Day Parade..years past when I was a child and lived in Boston we would go wait on Dorchester Ave. and see the parade. The city goes all out, huge Irish population in Boston.
You went all out I see too, how fun. Have a wonderful day!! Blessings, Karen

  2. Had beer in a green bottle a little while ago. Does that count?

Italian and Irish? What an interesting, complicated combination.

    Happy St. Patrick's Day!

  3. Girl, we have been going green all weekend! Jemma has been taking Irish step dance so this was a BIG performance weekend for us! I have to get back to blogging and share it! Hope your day was wonderful!

  4. Hunter woke up yesterday here, and said "I can't believe the leprechauns didn't leave me something!" I told her she was kinda pushin' it. 🙂

Lots of green at the beaches last evening; it was fun to see.

    xoxo
