True Colors

My daughter rode in a Connecticut Colored Breeds Horse Show today…
glorious weather…
So many beautiful horses of different breeds and spectacular color.
She rode Beemer, a paint who is owned by her riding instructor.

Wouldn’t this gentleman Clydesdale make a nice lawn Ornament here at this old house?

Pretty in Purple…

A beautiful Palomino..

A Clydesdales “Feathers”..

Your daughter looks so pretty and very much in her element.

  5. I'd hate to get stepped on by Mr. Big.

Your daughter looks gorgeous and that shirt is something else. Talk about bling!

  6. The college grad looks beautiful astride the horse. She has such beautiful posture! Woman, you are looking tiny! What is your secret? The palamino… love!!!!!

  7. Brings me back to being a kid, with my own horse, doing all those shows……..I wasn't all that good, but I worked hard at it, and I loved it.
Which is really all that matters anyway.

  8. These are AWESOME!! Yes, indeed, since you can't have any more dogs, I think you should have Clydesdale!!

K is so beautiful just like her ma!! 🙂

  9. Blue is Kristen's color, a stunner, she and Beemer! What beautiful pics on such a glorious day! You look like a peanut in that picture!!

  10. Very, very nice. And very successful too, judging by the amount of rosettes on the saddle. Well done. Nice and relaxed looking horse. And imagine that Clydesdale next to your cute little horses. Hehehe.

  11. That looked like such a fun day!! The ribbons on her saddle blanket are the PERFECT accessory.

Beemer looks like my sister's Madison, who is also a Paint without much 'paint' on him. Same color, same blaze, just shorter socks.

  12. There is just something abut those large draft horses! We live near the farm Belgian Meadows, where they keep the Belgian horses that they use for carriage rides in the historic downtown area. They rent the place out for weddings and other events also.
Your lovely daughter looked like she was in her element! I would have given anything to have been able to do anything with horses when I was her age! Glad to see her living her dream!
