  1. Beautiful. I've never been to a prom. Or a dance. And perhaps I'm showing just how old I am. But it seems the style of dresses has gotten shorter since the days I dreamed of being asked.

  2. how fun and how adorable !
i remember those days…all the proms and all the homecomings.

between me and you, i had more fun when it was my daughter going, than my son. i loved doing all the make-up for the girls and watching them get their hair done. the boys always seemed a bit "whatever" about it all.

    ps….your son is adorable 🙂

  3. How beautiful and handsome they all look…I can't believe my baby is all finished with this fun stuff! Makes me feel old! Gorgeous picture of the flowers and I love your new banner. Your house is just awesome!

    XO,
    Jane

  4. How cute they all are! Yes, mini-skirts are back I see! Love all the different bright colors:)

…and your son is very handsome!

  5. What a group! Those girls almost have what might qualify as dresses, I'm not sure since there isn't much to them. I can't say a word… dresses were quite short in my day, too.

  6. Your son's expressions crack me up! He's probably like, "MOM!!! Enough Already!!" Yes, indeed, the dresses are much shorter than they were. It's kind of interesting to me how different schools dress differently, I just received a copy of my "grandson's" prom pictures…and they were mostly long…out in Minneapolis. Don't you say a word Karen..it is my STEP Grandson!! 🙂

  7. Oooohhh, just look at those gorgeous young people. You must be so proud. Love the 'tough guys look' too. Hope they had a wonderful time.

  8. What a fabulous group of young folks … that one of yours is especially handsome! And it was great of you to volunteer to be a designated driver, considering your late notice and all. You're so responsible. 🙂

    Now get some rest.

  9. Makes my prom dresses from the early 70's look like bedspreads. You did a smashing job Mom with only 3 days to pull him together for this prom. They all look soooo cool.:)))

  10. Aren't they just cute? What fun! I see this is the year of short and fitted for proms. Here, too, last year it was a mix and the year before that it was all Cinderella style with lots of tulle skirts. xo Diana

  11. So many dreams and ambitions, realized and hoped for, seen in this photo. The babies are beautiful and remind me of one of Daddy's sayings, "He's going to set the world on fire just as soon as he finds his box of matches."
May God bless and keep them all the days of their lives.

  12. Total fun! They all looked so great dressed up! Your son reminds me of mine- trying to hold that smile in until finally it breaks out despite their best efforts! And then you just can't help smile big yourself 🙂

  13. Your son is so handsome — and has that "cat that caught the canary" smile my younger son has. Great photos, Karen.

  14. Sharp lookin' guys and beautiful girls! Blink, how can my babies be 30 and 40… I remember taking the same pictures last week~ but it wasn't last week!!

  15. Living or should I say reliving our lives vicariously through our children is something I think we all do as parents. It's clear to me and others just how proud you are.

Two-thumbs up for the Deerslayer! 🙂
