My daughter is getting 3 eggs a day so far–can't wait til they get enough to share! Actually, I'm considering getting from 2-4 hens myself!
I somehow missed your Wed. post. I was just telling "C" the other day about what I thought might help the overpopulation of dogs/cats. What if our taxes went to FREE spay/neuter clinics instead of paying to euthanize so many adoptable pets! I find it hard to believe that vets make the bulk of their profit on sterilization. It's just a immoral thing to do –like concentration camps for animals ending in death. The small towns that cannot afford staff vets are the worst at putting animals to death, and not always in a humane manner. We can do better. What if we had a first lady for once who would do public service announcements for spaying/neutering your pet. Or do you ever remember any president of our nation adopting a pet from a shelter instead of some fancy breed? Just a thought (rant)!
