I am a wife and mother to two grown kids, Mimi to two grandchildren soon to be four…three dogs, four horses, two goats, a rabbit and a flock of chickens. Retired writer and editor of our local news publication and current co-manager of a yearly artisan market in our small New England town. I volunteer in dog rescue and have adopted several shelter dogs – Lover of all creatures great and small, kayaking, hiking, art in mutliple forms but especially painting in oils, acrylics, watercolor…. photography, travel, good books, good food, the great outdoors, old souls, old friends, and THIS OLD HOUSE. My blog began when we resurrecting an 1835 Farm house. We recently acquired a 1935 seasonal cottage on the shoreline and resurrected her as well – we called her Stella and sold her to the next family a few years ago. Life and it’s treasures and struggles are shared here, as are political discussions, health and wellness , and be warned my opinions are strongly stated. My wish for the world is peace in coexistence, good will to all.
