As a young woman I would pass this house, a lovely old farm that was beginning to frey around the edges. Time marched on and life brought me back to this house about 25 years later as it began to crumble. Recently we were able to purchase This Old House.. take it down and reassemble it about 40 feet behind it’s original foundation. We added another 1800’s federal to the rear of it to form the family room and loft above. Renovation is complete and gardens are in full bloom once again at This Old House –
Sadly, due to a stalker-ish follower, I had to remove my blog for a while for peace of mind. In the process, I erased all of the posts on rebuilding This Old House. *sigh. It is what it is.
