Boyz and their Toyz

My husband and son were giddy yesterday
with the arrival of a few old trucks acquired for a bargain.
Someone is moving out of the area and needed to get rid of them
and we really really needed two more trucks, ya know?
Since I have recently “acquired” dog number 4,
I’m just shutting my mouth.
1962 Chevy C-60
Indiana Fire truck originally – sticker in door says so,
dump body added at some point.

1951 Ford F-6 with flame job
Flatbed
I love this one…
paint it turquoise with irridescent flames…
put a short bed on the back with wooden side slats..
big fat white wall tires
and I’d have my bomb-around.
A girl can dream…..

  3. Oh gosh…. for some reason you just totally made me laugh with this post. Sorry, but you did. Turquoise? I say go for it!

  4. I am totally with you on the Ford!!! Have always wanted something like that…one day perhaps….till now a girl can dream! Love the old trucks . 🙂

  5. I can so see you drivin' a turquoise truck with flames. LOL You're a funny girl. And, I bet if you promise not to bring any more doggies home, hubby would do that for you. 🙂

  6. Take those lemons and make lemon aid. Use the trucks to photograph people or the dogs, maybe chickens on the front seat might make an interesting photo.

  7. Lawz, I could use that dump truck but TEN lug nuts? Geeze, I'd sit by the side of the road until next year should I get a flat. I would NEVER get all those lug nuts off, Karen.
    Tell your menfolk…well done!
