Debate THIS

Him:  What time is the debate on tonight?….

Me:   Nine.

Him:   Get ready to rock and roll, baby….

Me:   Oooooh nooo you don’t. You’re starting all ready.  Are you capable of keeping your opinions and your wise cracks and the attitude to yourself?

Him:  Nope!

Me:   I’m going to my mothers house to watch it then.

Him:  Good idea.

The secret to staying married to a polar opposite?  Sometimes it’s one simple word.  Distance.

Have a good night, all.   🙂

  1. Ha! I was wondering earlier too if you guys were gonna be watching in separate rooms!! I've got the polar opposite thing going on here as well…

  2. HeeHee! I am lucky enough to be in agreement here too…but I remember my mother stating that she would always vote because her vote would cancel my father's:)

  3. My hubby doesn't antagonize me with the differences, thankfully, but yes, we are a family that we joke that we might as well rip up our ballots since they are usually cancelling each other out.
And I am an Oregon Duck and he is an Oregon State Beaver. We are used to opposing sides…a house divided.

  4. Hubby and I don't have too many discussions, however, neither of us will discuss politics with a couple of our kids. And, one of those kids is impossible to discuss religion, or God, with, either. Makes me wonder if he wasn't accidentally switched in the hospital.

  5. We watched. I tried to keep an unbiased attitude, but honestly found it hard to stay awake. Hubby nodded off, too. I guess you can count us in the 'agree' column.

  6. LOL!!

So, did you go to your mother's? I assume the both of you agree. I think my daughter and I are 'FINALLY' in agreement. 🙂

  7. We agree in our house as well, but we still didn't watch it. I mean why bother when our minds are already made up?
