Today was a big day for these two.
My little man and niece….
She is at her first big horse show with her first horse, Dude…
..and He is outside washing his first vehicle, which we picked up this morning.
I’m pretty sure it was spotless at the dealership…
but since we won’t be driving it for a year or so,
I guess there will be a lot of washing & waxing.
He’s been saving up his money and talking about his first vehicle since he was about three, no joke. This one needs some work, so he’ll have plenty of time to do what needs doing alongside his Dad until he actually gets his license.
Lord help me.
Please.
Sweet pictures!!!
Oh, great pics! Beautiful horse 🙂 Hope the show went well!
They sure do grow up, up, up and away… fast!
That was my oldest. He has never lost the thrill of cars. Great post.
Oh goodness gracious, I love this! Beautiful niece and your little guy is adorable (then and now)! 🙂
He'll be driving up, down and all around your farm! I remember when I first started driving, I'd wash my dad's car just so I could drive around the country corner to our back yard. He used to tell me I was washin' off the paint!
Happy Easter Karen, to you and yours. Blessings to all.
What wonderful photos! I love the two photos of your son washing the truck…priceless! He is so fortunate to have the opportunity to own his own truck so soon and to learn about it by working side by side with his father…again priceless!
Time waits for no one!! Happy Easter
what great before and after photos {you know what i mean} to share with us and them !!!
Sharp truck, he'll be spending a lot of time just hanging out with it! Our Grandson's been dreaming a long time too, he's been fascinated with cars since he was little. Don't worry Mom…you've prepared him for this big step!
Very cute photos! It's so nice that they each have a passion! They must be a lot of fun!
Big milestones…I don't know which way I would go, horse or car.
Your son looks too young to drive!!!
XO,
Jane
I remember those days so well! Scary and exciting….teary-eyed and smiling…(me-the Mom). My son was just like that…and he did not push to drive before he wasa ready..but he wanted that car (ours was an old Fiero). What a beautiful little boy he was…pretty cute now too! Your niece is just stunning looking. Have a wonderful Easter- xxoo Diana
Sweet post. They grow up too fast don't they!
Happy Easter,
Cindy
Exciting to see our little ones grow up and realize one of their dreams. 🙂
He let you off light, dear. My first car was a motorcycle. That fact alone shortened my mother's life by at least a decade. I think his truck looks sharp. And that's a good looking horse, too.
Oh oh!
