Ivy and the Two Moons

Great news tonight… a Rescue group out of Middletown, CT is pulling Ivy from the kill shelter and bringing her to a foster home in Vermont.  She will still need a forever home, but now she will know the nurturing of a home environment and the love of a family.  This is an example of when networking on the internet does some fantastic work.

There are two moons here tonight…
A sliver up in the sky…

And my son’s head…
He tried to give himself a buzz cut today..and buzzed one patch right in the middle
with too short of a blade.  Off to the salon we went to get it fixed.
Turns out, getting it “fixed” meant taking most of it off.

Men roll with these things a lot better than women, don’t they.

  1. Wonderful news about Ivy and for Ivy!

You didn't have to go to a salon to fix that, just lower the clipper level and do it yourself. Remind him to be careful next time, although his buzz cut looks good on him!

  2. Congratulations to Ivy on this VERY happy day.

Your son is lucky to have a nicely shaped head. LOL

  3. I am so happy for Ivy. Something good will come along for that cute dog! Your son is so handsome, even with his head shaved. So dang cute!!!

OMG, your son's head, his hair, or should I say, lack there of!!! Boys…anything goes…

  5. Karen, that dog is beautiful. Great moonlight pics. Your son makes me think of mine. He had a buzz from 3-13. I was the only one he would let rub his head. He liked it when I did it. But when anyone else did, he would duck and run. xo, Cheryl
