Great news tonight… a Rescue group out of Middletown, CT is pulling Ivy from the kill shelter and bringing her to a foster home in Vermont. She will still need a forever home, but now she will know the nurturing of a home environment and the love of a family. This is an example of when networking on the internet does some fantastic work.
There are two moons here tonight…
A sliver up in the sky…
And my son’s head…
He tried to give himself a buzz cut today..and buzzed one patch right in the middle
with too short of a blade. Off to the salon we went to get it fixed.
Turns out, getting it “fixed” meant taking most of it off.
Men roll with these things a lot better than women, don’t they.
well, he looks pretty cute with his shaved head!
and i hope that pup will find a good home…
Wonderful news about Ivy and for Ivy!
You didn't have to go to a salon to fix that, just lower the clipper level and do it yourself. Remind him to be careful next time, although his buzz cut looks good on him!
I'm thrilled that Ivy will move on with her life! As for your son's hair/head…my son did the same thing when he was a teenager…I love it!…:)JP
Great moon pics I am so glad he found a home that's a beautiful dog.
That news about Ivy made my heart sing. Now can we find her a home???
Congratulations to Ivy on this VERY happy day.
Your son is lucky to have a nicely shaped head. LOL
It looks nice like that. I love rubbing my hand across a buzzed head. Good news about the cute dog.
I am so happy for Ivy. Something good will come along for that cute dog! Your son is so handsome, even with his head shaved. So dang cute!!!
You are such a generous soul! Animals need friends like you.

That's great news about Ivy!! She reminds me of Ella!! (Sniff, sniff)
OMG, your son's head, his hair, or should I say, lack there of!!! Boys…anything goes…
totally something my son has done….twice 🙁
Oh! I'm so proud for Ivy!!
If Ivy needs transport through Illinois we would be more than happy to help!
Karen, that dog is beautiful. Great moonlight pics. Your son makes me think of mine. He had a buzz from 3-13. I was the only one he would let rub his head. He liked it when I did it. But when anyone else did, he would duck and run. xo, Cheryl
Yay Ivy! Lovely moon! Hope your son has some good hats – it's cold out! LOL!!!
Happy New Year!
Mary
SO thrilled for Ivy!!! The internet is a wonderful tool for finding homes for dogs!
Wow….you are correct….boys do indeed roll MUCH better than girls when it comes to these "things"!!
Happy New Year Karen!!
They both look adorable!!! YAY for Ivy! What a lovely way to start the new year for her!
All three of my "men" buzz off the hair to look like your son's — I really like it! (Especially when someone is balding — I won't say who.)
🙂
Great News for Ivy! Most of my nephews have had the same experience with their "do it yourself do's"
I always enjoy seeing your boy child in photo's. He's a clown, so very funny. He looks cute no matter what.
So glad about Ivy.
A great way to start the new year, Ivy finding a home! Your son is so good looking that nothing he does to his hair makes a bit of difference! HANDSOME! Happy, healthy New Year favorite blogger!
They sure do! When my bangs are cut a nilth too short-I obsess about it 🙂
I think he looks quite handsome!!!!
You make pretty babies, Karen!

And blessings for Ivy to find that forever home!
