Have you ever found a lucky stripe stone?
Here’s one I found on the island of St. John…
Here’s someone’s felted rock version…
And here is last night’s sky as we sat down to dinner.
A lucky stripe sky.

Love the rock you found, the felted facsimiles and your sky shots. Cool post — eye candy. 🙂
What a great looking sky! !!! Have a great tuesday
Beautiful sky photos!
Have a great Tuesday,

I've never heard of lucky stripes. I've seen lucky Strikes but they come in a red box. LOL
I've never heard of lucky stripes in nature. Very cool! And now I'm going to be on the lookout for them, of course.
have never heard of a lucky stripe stone. i believe i've seen one before, tho!
The real rock with the stripe is gorgeous! Perfect white stripe all the way across it.
Well now, that rock is something. I'd never heard of that either.
Your sky photo's, LOVE! 🙂
That's why I don't have a lucky strip stone, you took 6… Great pics btw…
Used to have one around here, but with a red stripe. Never heard them called lucky… or maybe the red stripe isn't lucky. That would be my luck!
I've got a little one in my kitchen window – didn't know it was lucky. I did know it was pretty 🙂
Oh, wow! Yes, I've found these rocks before. Didn't know they were lucky, though ~ cool!
I love the felted rocks. People are so clever. Your supper sky was neat as well.
Have I been living under a rock? Never heard of a lucky stripe rock- and now I want to find my own!! That is so cool- do you know how they got their name? See, I would have just looked at he sky and said- wow look at the thing-y in the sky… 🙂
I never noticed those rocks before, but maybe I wasn't paying attention. I will now.
I have! I have a similar rock. Didn't know it was a lucky stripe though.
