My girl has had a great year
as she re-entered the world of horse shows.
She and her instructor’s horse, Beemer,
have done very well together in the Adult Walk-Trot
western pleasure and equitation classes.
Beemer is still “green”, however, and needs more time and training
before he can go to the next level. Heidi has begun fine tuning his skills..
and K needed to move forward with a well schooled horse.
Our horses at home are not fancy enough to compete..
and buying another quality show horse outright would be very expensive.
We’re very fortunate that there is a horse available for lease
on the farm K takes her lessons. His owner is moving
up in the quarter horse world and is looking for a
fancier horse for the higher level of competition.
Max is perfect for K,
and so a new partnership has begun.
Heidi on Beemer, giving K and Max instruction…
Beautiful animal! Good luck! What is she spraying on his legs? Just curious
Bug spray! The flies have been awful this year.
You must be a very proud moma, Karen.
Aww, best of luck to BOTH of them!
Oh, how I miss this…
Thanks for a sweet post I know you did just for me..LOL!
xo, misha
Wonderful photos! Your daughter is beautiful!
How fun for her. New challenges and skills with her new partner should bring a lifetime of good memories and fun.
What a handsome boy Max is, and how wonderful that the timing was perfect for your daughter to lease him! I'm sure they will do great things together!
Kat
Oh he is indeed very handsome! And your daughter looks pretty amazing on his back- what a great match-up- it'll be fun to hear how they do together!
awesome! may that max match be a success!
Gorgeous match!
She looks beamingly happy in that first picture. The match looks perfect!
Sometimes the planets all align and it's just kismet!
They make a striking pair. Good luck on their future together!
Nice horse!!! Wish we had more training facilities up here to lease a horse! Mine aren't fancy enough to show, either and buying one that is is quite out of the question. Your daughter looks great on her new mount!
