Natural beauty

I may have posted about this guy last year, but I’m too lazy this morning to look through the archives.  Have you ever heard of Andy Goldsworthy?    ” (born 26 July 1956)  – a British sculptor, photographer and environmentalist producing site-specific sculpture and land art situated in natural and urban settings. He lives and works in Scotland.”

Here’s my attempt last fall…
this year we don’t really have enough color or leaves left.

  1. I LOVE all things by Andy Goldsworthy and your heart is a beautiful tribute to him! I did something similar last year but no where near as creative and beautiful as yours! This year was terrible for color wasn't it!

I am excited about Goldsworthy's proposal for a permanent installation at the deCordova sculpture museum in MA, Snowhouse…it will an easy drive to see it!

  2. Amazing creativity – the photos and the compositions. I can't wait to send this to my son who is up at school in LA majoring in Fine Arts. It's right up his alley; he'll love it, as I do. By the way, your composition and photo was fantastic too.

  3. I LOVE your Goldsworthy!
    He's an amazing artist.
My son introduced me to his work a few years – but your version is great too!

  4. Awesome!!! It worked!

I have been in love with AG since I first saw his work… ready to jump on a boat to Scotland right this minute!
