Isn't it amazing how fast baby birds grow! Doting parents and a steady diet of bugs and worms are miraculous. My wren babies left their nest day before yesterday. I'll have to go out later to check on the mockingbirds.
These photos perfectly show a condition that we call "bird hair". It is usually found on cute little babies, with fine hair sticking straight up … Like bird hair.
Oh my, they sure appear hungry in the first photo.
They are all mouth, aren't they?!!
they're so adorable. love your title. 🙂
Babies are getting big! !!!!
I love that first photo! All babies, human or otherwise, are so cute and priceless.

Great pictures. You are brave. I see that mama bird just down aways from the nest I'm sure keeping an eye on you.
I imagine they are rather noisy while they wait to be fed. I get a kick out of the horse hair in their nest.
I'm surprised Mama didn't take your head off! I tried to get close to a nest of babies under our porch and was scared out of my wits by a very angry mama bird. LOL Great shots!
They sure have grown!
Reminds me of the grandkids… always making noise.
LOVE this kind of peep show…or course I haven't ever seen the "other kind" of peep show so it is a speculation that this is the best one!;>) Hope you had a good day…I think all of our babies have flown the nest now-xo Diana
