I’m just amazed at how fast baby birds mature.
They were bald just last week.
Imagine the energy their body must make to produce all this growth in a week!….

They are filling out and maturing- they'll be flapping those fledgling wings soon enough!
They won't be there much longer. I took pics of babies and the next day they were gone.

Awww… makes me think of our Carlos! We got word from the rehab place that he is doing well! Sweet little things!

It's truly amazing isn't it! I've been seeing 3 baby ducks on my walk every day, and this morning there were only two. I'm gonna be worried until tomorrow! 🙁

It's great to see the little bird grow into maturity. It's like a metamorphosis. Soon they'll start spreading their wings to fly.
Your babies are growing up! They still look so sweet and babyish! How are you going to feel when the fly the coop? OH MY! You'll miss them!
