My old HS friend Denis
posted these really cool jello citrus slices on FB yesterday..
so I ripped them off to post here 🙂
Instructions…
Cut oranges in half (orange, or large lemon, grapefruit, whatever)
take out the insides so that you are left with just the rind
Fill the halfs with jello liquid and let set in the refrigerator.
When the jello is set, cut halves in half…
and you get this!
I suppose you could do to these what some do with “jello shots”…
vodka anyone?

and you can make sangria with the guts of the fruit. I am SO going to do this for my next party!
LOVE! My boys would get a kick out of these. But…um…I'll leave out the vodka 😉
My comment was going to be same as lisa! ! Haha have a great day
Oh my…I feel a headache coming on just from peeking 😉
A great idea though!!! And sooo colorful!
What a layout! As beautiful and tempting as it is yummy. Must give it a try.
Oooo…love the blue ones!
Totally cool!!
Those look very tempting… and cool. In this heat anything cool is a good idea!
I'm so making these for the 4th of July! LOVE this!
What a presentation! You're right, very cool idea.
ooh i have done these for as long as i have had birthday parties for the children… and i add a little paper sail to the orange jello boats for the perfect little yatchs 🙂
And here I've been tearing my hair out, trying to think of something different for this year's Canada Day bash at out best friend's house!!! Guess who's having red jell-o (of course, laced with a little vodka!) in orange and lemon peels!!!!!!!! I'll have to post some pics after the fact. Thanks for the awesome idea.
Love this blog, by the way (:
