Looks like a piece of cake compared to my childhood haying! LOL!!!!!!
Nice job guys!! And done before the rain?? Oh and really nice biceps on your son…wow!!! Wish my arms would define like that…LOL!
One of my least fav things to do! Nice to have it done.
Hard, hot work but the horseys say Thank YOU!
They probably secretly loved every minute, being outside, using their muscles, mom photographing said muscles 😉 I bet it smells wonderful too.
Looks like hard work but boy those horses will be happy
Look at the muscles on that guy!!! Making hay… Gold's Gym? What a good feeling when the barn is full.
Your son has got some guns on him. Picking up hay bales is good exercise! Cute kids!
Your son has some guns! What hard working boys they are!
I bet the haying smells so good. I really love that smell.
love that season! miss the old square bales!
That was cool! I've never seen how it was done before, and I've always been curious.
Great job! I know everyone must be happy it's finished. 🙂
Oh,and as Theresa pointed out, I never see square bales here anymore.
So that's how you do it!
XO, Jane
That's why parent have kids… to put them to work! 😉 LOL
A treasure for all involved. I remember it being very dusty, too.
Wow- "the guns" – I need to send my boys your way- they would love it- driving a John Deere and getting to throw bales… I'd better not even show them 🙂
Bring out the big guns for that battle. Looks like you won!
Good that you have strong men around there to take care of this. Muscles galore!
Good old fashioned hard work does a body good, doesn't it? I used to love the way the fresh hay smelled 🙂 I've sat on a bale or two stacked in the barn in my day 🙂
Hope you made them a good meal afterward! 🙂
Oh- I so remember those days of haying. I always got stuck in the mow and hated that job- it was hot, itchy and sticky- UGH- xo Diana
I love to watch the hay baler 'poop out' square bales!
Looks like you got it all in:) Love that blue and white truck!
It's almost time for that to happen here, Karen. Not sure how much I'll get this year, I've had calves on the hay meadow and just took them off first of the month.
