  1. Nice job guys!! And done before the rain?? Oh and really nice biceps on your son…wow!!! Wish my arms would define like that…LOL!

  2. They probably secretly loved every minute, being outside, using their muscles, mom photographing said muscles 😉
I bet it smells wonderful too.

  3. Your son has some guns! What hard working boys they are!

I bet the haying smells so good. I really love that smell.

  4. Great job! I know everyone must be happy it's finished. 🙂

Oh,and as Theresa pointed out, I never see square bales here anymore.

  5. Wow- "the guns" – I need to send my boys your way- they would love it- driving a John Deere and getting to throw bales… I'd better not even show them 🙂

  6. Good that you have strong men around there to take care of this. Muscles galore!

  7. Good old fashioned hard work does a body good, doesn't it? I used to love the way the fresh hay smelled 🙂 I've sat on a bale or two stacked in the barn in my day 🙂

  8. Oh- I so remember those days of haying. I always got stuck in the mow and hated that job- it was hot, itchy and sticky- UGH- xo Diana

  9. It's almost time for that to happen here, Karen. Not sure how much I'll get this year, I've had calves on the hay meadow and just took them off first of the month.
