Bid & Bark Sale!

My heart is full of gratitude this morning for all my creative and  warm-hearted blog friends.  Thank you all so much for your generosity and these wonderful donations to the Dog Days Adoption Event.  With your help, I am confident we will find homes for a possible 80 shelter dogs at our August event.  see flyer in previous post for more details on event…

Below you will find items that have been “donated”.  Sale price and description are listed above each item.  I would love to receive the full purchase price (really a donation to Dog Days Adoption Event), however I will leave the option open to make an offer on the piece also.  In the comments section below the post, please leave a comment stating that you would like to either buy it at full price or make an offer.  I’m going to leave this post up for the rest of the week. The highest offer or the first to offer the full purchase price will receive the item they request.

  • Make sure your e-mail is enabled so I can reply to your comment.
  • Then I will ask that you send me a check or money order written out to:
 Dog Days Adoption Events, Inc
  • I will e-mail mailing address to you and to crafter who has donated the item.  Once I receive your check to Dog Days, crafter will ship item to you directly.
  • Due to exorbinant costs, SHIPPING IN CONTINENTAL US ONLY
Please pass this post along to your friends, or repost on your blog! The more people who see this, the better the chances are to raise money to save these dogs!!.. Thank you for your support.

  1. P.S. Blogger offers a 'fund my blog' option nowadays. i'm wondering if you couldn't add the button to raise funds for your sweet pup adoption event?

  2. Some gorgeous items there and how wonderful that a couple of them are sold already.

If only there wasn't an ocean between us…
Good luck with this auction. And I hope the dogs all will find terrific homes. Will be following the events with interest 🙂

  3. Oh, you are such a loving and generous soul! Which is why I love you so. I wish I wasn't in the "can't spend any money" phase, or I'd be spending. My charitable donations are always to animal rescues.

  4. HI Karen, have stumbled on your blog and happy to be a new follower! Your blog title intrigued me, i love old houses, but once here discovered we have a lot in common……animal lover here, also with a QH close by…..Im thinking you are in Ct.? That's where I spent my middle-high school years. Anyway, won't go on forever but really have enjoyed hopping around some of your older and newer posts. Would love for you to come visit me at Ironstone and Pine, getting the hang of blogging since just starting in the spring; looking forward to your future posts! ~devon
