..I’m guessing probably NOT from the back of this 1890’s buckboard.
But oh, the romance of it….
This old hay rake has come home to roost too….

the buckboard looks in great shape! but i'd hate to have to mow around them both. 🙂
The setting for that buckboard is perfect! I have my eye on one of those too…trying to convince hubby he wants it for his birhtday!
Love the buckboard!! Our next door neighbors have a bright, shiny, new green and yellow hay rake parked at the end of their lane. Would prefer seeing an old one like yours. 🙂

The buckboard is awesome! Believe it or not, I just saw an old hay rake out here recently! : )
WOW WOW! These are great!
Oh nice! We have an old corn planter. I took pics once but then never did get around to putting them on the blog. Yours looks great!
Very cool! My Mom collected neat old rakes and tractors too. I love them!
Have a great weekend. Pam

I love them both…they are surely original to your property! They belong! ♥
Karen, I am not showing my 17 year old son your post. He is obsessed with old things and would love your buckboard and rake. They look beautiful on your property. Joni

Absolutely awesome! You find the greatest stuff. 🙂
That buckboard is exactly what I was looking for, and finally gave up and had mine made. Beautiful.
Karen, I would have to decorate it at Christmas. Just beautiful. Carol
Could you ship those to Tennessee so I could put the next to our old smoke house? Thank you! xo, misha
Love them both 🙂
wow….and for some reason, my mind went straight to christmas and visualizing how beautifully decorated you'll make them…well, the wagon for sure 🙂
Oh my, that hay rake reminds me of one my grandfather had! And I've always wanted a buckboard wagon! I pass one several times a week as the Mennonite and Amish still use them around here! I hope you will fill it with pumpkins and mums this fall so that I can live vicariously!
Kat 🙂
My mother like to collect neat old rakes and tractors too. It is her hobby, she have very big collection of its in garage.
Remember my comment yesterday? Well… I rest my case. How beautiful is this? 😉
I agree right off the bat with Beth and Kat; I can see those full of pumpkins and something amazing at Christmas. Really pretty pictures. You should be so proud of all your work out there. Debi

looks right at home in that spot! Great picture!
If we had one of those buckboards, my husband would prolly be using it to haul firewood. We used to have an old corn planter at the other farm, but we didn't bring it with us.
And as far as your question is concerned about my house — yes, it is soft and dreamy and pink and shabby-chic. Oh wait, that's my fantasy house. Never mind… 🙂
Lookin' good!!! Love the rusty hay rake–the lines are so perfect!! And the buckboard…sigh…
If I lived where you lived, yours would be the house I would drive by and say, "I wish I lived there!" Love the old buckboard and hay rake… Home Sweet Home!
I remember those old rakes on our farm!
such great shots… all of them!
Love the wagon! Will you sell any of your produce etc., from it this summer? My neighbor has a hay-rake on her property, her home is c.1700. I love them both!
Great genuine decorations for the property. They both look amazing. I can see the buckboard all decorated with hay, mums and pumpkins this fall. Maybe a scare crow thrown in too!!
I like those wagon so much. I planned to sell it as soon as possible. Well, My Mom collected neat old rakes and tractors too.
