Runs with the big dogs

Our little white mutt is the one who has battled cancer this past year.  She’s a tough cookie, this one -right now she’s in remission.  Bailey weighs 13 lbs. to Bens 185, yet she is the boss, hands down.  I have never met a dog with more tenacity, must be the terrier in her.

Notice she’s got him against the fence…

She frequently takes his toys away…

  This time she didn’t.

Was I the one who wanted snow?  ME??…..
brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  1. Karen – stunning pictures, I love the last one of the lantern a lot.
Gotta love dogs, they're wonderful creatures.
Here in nw NJ we are not getting any snow today.

  2. Great pics of your pups… Rowdy is our 'go get em' dog too. Handsome is much mellower so Rowdy tends to rule the roost even at 6 months old. He's been that way since day 1.

Great header! I just put a cardinal on my header today too. It's our state bird here in Virginia.

    Di
Snowing here today too!! And quite cold.

  3. How very very wonderful! Some of my favorite things! Horses, dogs, and old houses…
I found you on Cozy Little House…I don't even know how! Brenda has about as many blogs she visits as i do..no I think more!

    Love your blog..great pictures!

  4. Ha! I really enjoyed this post reminded me of when we were keeping our grandsons golden lab Cutter and our dog Casper an American eskimo, of course the smaller dog was the boss at our house too! So funny we got such a kick out of the sight of the 34 lb dog intimidating the much larger dog! Sadly we lost Casper this year in September to liver cancer he was 14 so glad your furbaby is in remission.

  5. I am thrilled to hear that Bailey is in remission, and that she's enjoying life so much!! There are times when I worry about her, and you, and I wonder how she's feeling. It's wonderful that the news, for now, is good news.

Is that dog slobber on the storm door, or were you playing with a texture? 🙂
