What a fantastic movie! Best I’ve seen in a long while… You don’t even have to like westerns to enjoy the incredible acting, scenery, storyline and yes absolutely… TRUE GRIT in this movie. Loved every single bit of it. Except where the horse dies. Dammit.

haven't seen this version yet. my sis is a die-hard john wayne fan so i grew up with his movies over and over again…
We liked it, too. One of the best and we started not to see it.
I am looking forward to see thing one too. My son's saw it and they Loved it..The little girl is amazing.
We loved it too! Last week J recorded the original and we watched it Friday night. I think I liked both equally. Kim Darby was way cool!

Loved the original…how could I not, it was JOHN WAYNE!…and am looking forward to seeing this version.

I wasn't expecting to like this movie but I did, and was happily surprised. Haley did such an amazing job.
I saw this in the theater when it first came out and loved it too…the end was such a shock though…I wasn't expecting that!
